welcome
With a heart full of joy and gladness, I welcome you to this website. It was designed so that you can access to more information on the current happenings in the house. We sincerely hope it will be of immense benefit to you and help bridge the communication gap.
THE BIRTH
The above named fellowship began with a group of nine girls who finished from the Federal Government Girl's College Calabar in 1990. Their purpose was to fellowship and look out for one another after school from backsliding. 17 years down the lane, FECA has grown into a network of about 80 chapters across the nation divided into four regions: North-East, North-West, Eastern and Western regions. About 75% of the population are university undergraduates, some 10%, secondary school leavers, and the remaining 15%, members who are now working and/or married. We call the last category of people "FECA Forum of Senior Members (FOSM)." The chapters meet once every week for fellowship and major meetings at chapter and zonal levels are usually at the discretion of the leadership. Once in every year however, all chapters in Nigeria converge at a 4-day convention at National and Regional levels alternately.
VISION
Redeeming the desolation of our land and generation
FECA ANTHEM
Here and now in our time
We remember our God
Who made us and loved us
And gave us Christ his son
So we come in the love
Of the one who made us free
We stand in one accord
To redeem the desolation
Of our land and generation
As we walk with the Lord
Chorus:
We shall rise shine as the light
We shall lift the weary hands up that hang down
We shall raise the feeble knees that stoop to fall
As we call upon the Lord
What he tells us we shall do
And we shall keep this vision burning
As we walk with the Lord
Verse 2:
In the days of our youth
We remember our God
Who gave us, this nation
And the blessings we receive
So we give him our lives
And the worship He deserves
We move in one accord
In his holiness and power
To redeem our generation
Till he comes again.
Chorus
